- Quite fashionable resume (to finally score that kindergarten teaching job, perhaps).
- Every page has an extremely colorful and feminine feel that’s composed of a four-toned pink, blue, baby-blue, and off-white color combination.
- The diagonal and zigzag lines to a terrific job of adding some cheerfulness to the look.
- Categories are accentuated with hexagon shapes, and dedicated tables for each title. A timeline to make sure your academic background, honors, GPA, and bachelor degree are all visually designated.
Covid Resume Tip:
Since you likely have most of your work and volunteer experience online, you can include links to those websites in your resume. However, you should include the full address, just to be on the safe side.

It’s simple, easy to understand, and professional while still being creative and stylized. I can guarantee you that if you use this template, your resume will be looked at by more than 10 employers, and get a bunch of interviews, even if you apply to a position you’re not qualified for.
I know it’s not perfect, and I’m probably going to change the template some more to make it more relevant to my industry, but I just wanted everybody to have a good idea of how the resume looks and works.
I’m using Google Docs, but the format is exactly the same on word and Google Docs. I’m not sure why Google Docs isn’t picking up the formatting, if it does pick it up in Word, it will be picked up by the same spot in the same place. In addition, the content is all in one page.
I applied for a job, got an interview, and ended up getting hired by a single phone call. That is how usually it goes, but what most people don’t know is that I actually had two interviews (for different positions) and applied to both. The thing is, the people running the program didn’t see eye to eye with me so there was tension between us, but we worked through it and I ended up working on a different program altogether that worked out perfectly.
I used this template to apply for two internships: one at a large hospital in my area (where I believe my resume is strong) and one at a large public hospital in the city (where I do not have as strong of a resume but they saw my Facebook page and know that I love to learn and I love to help people).
It’s much easier to skim, and I can actually read it now (I had to look at it so many times to see what was wrong). Before, I had a long list of skills with bullet points and buzzwords. Now, it’s all at one page.
I got a few interviews from applying with this template and I’m pretty sure it was the resume.
I applied for the role of a Sales Development Representative (SDR) with a Fortune 500 company and was directly referred to the sales team. I was trained on how to use the company’s proprietary software, although I was never given a chance to use it. I worked directly with top salespeople in the company and was expected to work on top saleslists.
First of all, if you are applying to a more managerial position, you do not want to list any achievements from your previous positions. Instead, you want to highlight your skills and experience. Show us how you stand out from the rest of the applicants by highlighting your unique and valuable experiences. Show us that you are the best and we will fall in love with you.
No more endless tweaking of your resume to tailor it to specific jobs you are applying for. Just create a new resume with this tag and you will get your desired result in seconds. I guarantee it. I am willing to bet even the smartest HR employees get overwhelmed when they are bombarded with hundreds, if not thousands, of resumes each week.
