Built by and for engineering students and young professionals, it places a great deal of emphasis on one long term job.
- Grapevine is a modern resume template set for word with a lot of infographics on its first page.
- The footer consists of five large pie shaped charts, with a separate page for replacement graphics.
- If you’re a recent college graduate with little experience in the workplace, replace the sample list of previous jobs for undergraduate internships—and if you lack those, go ahead and fill it up with volunteer work you did while attending university.
- The lengthy timeline is liked by many new graduates like yourself, since it leaves plenty of space for you to talk about your extracurricular activities along with any awards you happened to receive.
A resume objective is usually one or two sentences that summarize your teaching experience and skills. They can help you make a strong first impression and help your resume get past the automated applicant tracking system (ATS) filters.

100%. It’s so simple, yet it packs a wallop. 100%. It’s like someone wrote a *mastery* document for job hunting. And it’s awesome. You should totally try it out. I guarantee you will not be as happy after you print this out as you were after you printed out your college resume.
No other template is going to give you the look, the style, or the functionality that this template has. If you want to show your talent and show it strong, give this template a chance. I bet you will not be disappointed.
It not only gets you noticed from the very first glance, but it also gets you noticed from the HR/recruiter perspective. I’m going to post three resumes that were all designed with this template. The first one is the most “generic” of the three and the one you’ll most often see. This is the resume I’ve been sending out to companies since I graduated in 2007.
It’s so simple, yet packs a punch. It’s perfect for those who want to portray an image, but still have a little bit of style. It’s the resume builder that will help you stand out. First, let’s address the elephant in the room.
It is very easy to read. No one will ever guess the information is for a graphic artist. No one will ever guess I have 5 years of experience working as a graphic artist in addition to the graphic design degree. No one will ever guess I am currently enrolled in a bachelors program in a field completely unrelated to my career.
It’s so easy to use, and every single one of the examples on Google Images looks like a real bad idea that nobody would ever recommend. You have to set up your information in the header, then simply copy and paste it into every position you want to apply to. That’s it!
It’s simple. No more than one page. (Trust me on this one. I’ve been reading way too many “professionally” designed resumes and they seem to be practically ghosted. I’m not saying you shouldn’t do them, I’m just saying you shouldn’t overdo it and create a resume that looks like a teenager put it together. ) It’s clean.
Not only did I land a job right away, but I’ve been employed there for over three years with no signs of letting up. I’m just not sure how to show this on paper. I’ve never shown my resume to anyone before and to be honest, I don’t really expect anyone to want to look at it, but here it is. There really isn’t much more I can do at this point.
No more horrid experience based resume filters! Just write what you did and the impact you had in your job. Simple, clean and easy to read. Then apply to the positions you want and see how you stack up!
The template is easy to use and the content is highest in priority. I am only including the name of my university (not my full address) in the email signature and in the subject line of the email. I am also choosing to include the previous few years of employment history in the first section, and then simply stating my current position and the relevant experience in the second section. The final section simply contains my name and contact information.
