It’s simple, beautiful, professional, and will set you apart from everybody else. It’s the template my girlfriend uses and she’s had absolutely no problem getting any position she’s applied for. I don’t know how to sell it better so I’m going to take a minute to do that for you right now.
It is simple to understand. Easy to use. Quick to format. Highly effective. Superb layout. Resumes that follow this template are either rejected by the employer or never even get a response.
No other template can match the results. Jobscan is #1 for sure, and they only get better with time. I can guarantee you that if you try to match their templates, they will exceed and beat your HR budget. I know because I used them.
I know it’s not for everybody, but if you’re looking for a way to truly show your true self and prove to the world that you are *the best*, then look no further than this template. I guarantee you will be impressed, and you will leave the interview wondering how you ever did before.
I used this template to apply for two internships, both of which I was accepted to. I had a 3.8 GPA at the time, and I don’t want to list it. But I was also very conscious of the fact that, whatever my GPA, I at least deserve an interview. This was my first time going to the interview desk, and they probably don’t know what a 3.8 GPA means. I felt very overwhelmed, and very nervous.
Out of the ~100 applications I had over 50% of phone screens rejected. Only about 3 interviews. Of those, 2 resulted in actual offers being made. Of the offers, one was pulled out of the pile within a day or two of being made, and the other was rescinded after a few weeks. I was given the offer to stay on for a year, which I took.
1) Your resume will never make it past the ATS. Recruiters use ATS software to screen out certain words and phrases that are repetitive, jargon-filled, and/or look like someone stuffed their resume with all their previous job duties. This is especially difficult with longer resumes with lots of responsibilities and accomplishments.
I used this template to apply for two internships, both of which I was accepted to. I then applied to a third internship which I was also accepted to. The worst possible decision I could have made was to submit my applications late. The worst. But what’s done is done, and I need to move on with my life.
The first thing you will notice is that your resume is actually 2 pages. This is because you have a lot of stuff to put on there, and you do not want to force it to be two pages. Instead, take out what you don’t need and focus on the things you do need. The result is a resume that is crisp and clean, and displays your expertise clearly.
It gets you noticed, gets you interviews, and most importantly… it gets you hired! Best of luck out there everyone!
