- Used as a multi-purpose, easily editable and basic professional resume for all sorts of job titles.
- Contains customized icons that uses a minimal formatting structure for its bullet points with plenty of space for a medium-sized barcode.
- Combining 0.5″ thick left and right side page margins, the designer added a checkered shape-fill in a monochromatic tone for each opposing end of the page.
Add your address, phone number and email in the header of your resume. Include your current phone number and email address. If you have a professional networking profile or website, include the link. Since you likely have your address and phone number, this step is optional.

Use a descriptive title. Hiring managers read hundreds of resumes every single day. They don’t read “Jane Doe” or “Jane Smith”. They want to know what you do and what you do for a living. Use a descriptive title. Your resume title should convey your relevance and your value. This is the first impression you make with the hiring manager.
I like how my new resume seems liek I have no unemployment gaps all of a sudden (last thing on my mind). Like everyone else, I see that as basically a given now. Plus it has lots of white space, which helps keep my resume from being too fat.
I landed two jobs within weeks, without having to put a single application out. It’s the exact same resume, just with different company names. The only thing that has changed is the job title and dates I worked at each company. The first job was at a small plumbing company. I was an apprentice for about a year, and then I was hired on full time.
I don’t know how many people have been using it but it has definitely helped me. It has changed my resume from a “doer” to an “achiver” and I hope it can help you too. To give you an idea of how much improvement this has made, I have applied to hundreds of jobs and have only gotten one call back and interview.
I went from a job that I thought I was qualified for, to one that I am not qualified for in the slightest, but has the highest chance of getting me the job of my life if I apply hard enough. It has been suggested that I apply for the position of an executive secretary or administrative assistant and that is exactly what I intend to do.
I was struggling with how to write my bullet points and I knew I needed to change them. With this template, I can finally knock out my bullet points in less than two pages (before, they were over 5 pages long) with no minor formatting issues. I’ve also been able to cut down my job descriptions to two lines, instead of the five that were in the old cv.
I’ve been looking for jobs since September, and I’ve applied to over 100 places. I’ve had phone interviews, in person interviews, and two in-office interviews. I’ve had all of my references call me back, but I’ve yet to get an offer. I’ve been in retail since 2008.
I started out by reaching out to a resume writing company. The process was super disorganized and not very helpful. I finally found someone that actually responded quickly and offered to write me a service. She emailed me within a few days with a template she had created, which was great!
