Your input is very much appreciated .
It looks so professional, and the grey background color is calming and adds a touch of class to the resume. The main reason I kinda like the template is because I saw some people use that exact template on some of their job applications, and it looked really nice.
First – it’s clean. All your information is in one page, either vertical or horizontal. No big ugly gaps, no wasted space, no wasted text. It’s all in one page for a reason. Second – It’s easy to read. Each line of your resume is the correct size and has the proper font.
It also looks nice because each experience listed is brief yet detailed enough so as Noted above you can have an idea what was achieved without having read through 20+ pages worth ____.
I didn’t know how to convey the idea that I am very comfortable with my basic skills. My only job f the last 5 years has been teaching myself things here and there. I didn’t know a better way to convey the idea that I am a self motivated student who wants to learn much more.
# First, it looks like everyoneseee different! Which is nice. # Second The layout allows me to fit ALL relevant jobs.
It’s incredibly easy to read. Three, it comes with a summary statement at the beginning and I think it’s great. Fourth, it includes my interests section which I’m a big fan of and want to highlight.
I think it looks very clean and minimalistic, and that is a strong aesthetic I am trying to cultivate. since I am targeting creative types (copywriting, creative marketing, journalism), a lot of my experience is in that realm. In addition, it fits very well into the template.
I don’t like the regular bullet points. I thought it was tacky and most companies want lengthy bullet points on each job.
First off it’s very clean – no more messy half-repetitive lines between words that look like crap under magnification. Secondly It follows many recommendations from Resume Reviewers which was exciting :).
It looks visually appealing, it’s clean, it’s simple, it’s economical with space, and it’s effective.
It’s much easier to parse (no more boring long paragraphs) It encourages creativity (you get to choose your own category)And finally, I just really like the feel of the paper. It feels nice and nice.
For starters, it’s much easier to skim (a big no-no for me with colorful and creative stuff). The fonts are also very clean and modern looking, not the typical Times New Roman, and the titles are also “clean” and simple.
It’s very simple to read (from an aesthetic standpoint), yet still has enough flourish in it that people will want ___________ __. To add some context: – My experience consists mainly fo education on university campuses or within research centers — either as paid “staff” / students pursuing those opportunities at least part-time with full time commitments elsewhere.
It looks very clean, and is organized extremely well. It’s a good length as well. My old resume was long, clunky, and not at all easy on the eye. This one is an absolute beauty. It’s simple, modern, professional, and professional looking.
It is simple and modern, which I guess makes it stand out compared to those silly colorful ones I had going around before. It is possible to customize the template to fit you better if you know c#.
