A fantastic modern outline ideal for long resumes in either chronological or functional formats. Named Coho, it also comes with various icons for your interest, reference, social, skill sets and awards sections too.
Since all of the colors used were kept to a minimum when it was designed, it makes this template much easier to skim right to your core achievements in less than six seconds. This means employers won’t miss out on any of that good stuff you’ve got in store for them.
There are a ton of subtle additions that make this one of our most sought out for designs. Take the horizontal line placement above, for example. Making simple use of word’s lines and shapes, the sidebar is lightly decorated with adjustable proficiency bars. Pretty clever right?
Switch to different awards by swapping out academic for employee achievements.

I could go on for days about how much I think it looks good, but I will save that for my cover letter, which I hope you can look at and tell me if you think it looks bad. I am so excited to get out of my current job and do something a little more professional! I have been told before that my resume was not professional enough.
It took out a lot of the guesswork and confusion that come with a traditional resume and allowed me to focus on the most important aspects of the job. I used this template for my first real resume submission to a local company (they have many locations) and I got the job. I hope it can help anyone else who finds themselves in a similar situation.
It’s simple, easy to use AND looks good. You’ll want to keep it simple, because there’s a reason resume writers try to get you to do the opposite of that. Simple looks good, and recruiters like simple. Simple makes the resume stand out, and that’s what you want. Simple makes the resume easy to read, and that’s a good thing.
I used this template, and got 3 phone interviews within the first week. I would highly recommend this template!
I’ve had a few people tell me that it looks nice, while others tell me it looks amateur. I feel like I’ve gotten a little too fancy with my resumes in the past, so I’m always trying to keep it clean and on one page. I’ve had a few resumes that I’ve liked, but all of them were corporate in nature.
It starts off with a clean and simple template. The information is easy to understand. Then, the information for each job is easy to find, and the information for each job is also related to the next job. Finally, the information for each job is easy to categorize as well.
I have applied to hundreds of jobs in the last two months and I have not gotten a single response. Even for a part time job, I have never got a call. I have tried tailoring my resume to the job, but no matter what I do I always get the same results.
I started in IT, working my way up to a very specific role in a very specific company. I then transferred to a new company to be with my boyfriend of 5 years, who is now the #1 guy at the new company. I love the job, and while it pays well and offers lots of growth, I just don’t love the culture as much.
It’s simple, easy to use, and gives you that oh-so-impressive “I know my way around computers! ” feel. Best of all, it guarantees you an interview! Use this template when you need to give a quick summary of yourself, and you don’t need a lengthy resume. Your audience could be a hiring manager, a hiring auditor, a recruiter, or someone who simply looks at resumes.
1. It’s simple. Easy to understand. You have to focus on the details and you can’t waste space wasting paragraphs with unnecessary information. 2. It’s to the point.
