A fantastic modern outline ideal for long resumes in either chronological or functional formats. Named Coho, it also comes with various icons for your interest, reference, social, skill sets and awards sections too.
Since all of the colors used were kept to a minimum when it was designed, it makes this template much easier to skim right to your core achievements in less than six seconds. This means employers won’t miss out on any of that good stuff you’ve got in store for them.
There are a ton of subtle additions that make this one of our most sought out for designs. Take the horizontal line placement above, for example. Making simple use of word’s lines and shapes, the sidebar is lightly decorated with adjustable proficiency bars. Pretty clever right?
Switch to different awards by swapping out academic for employee achievements.

I had applied to 90+ jobs and got nothing. Not even an interview. I had to completely revamp my resume and this is the new one I’m submitting. I applied to so many jobs, I barely ever got a response. I had screwed myself over so badly, that I went to my friends for help. Friends who had hired me, who also had screwed themselves over.
I’m coming off as a little more confident in myself because I actually have SOMETHING to put on my resume besides my education. since I’m a freshman in college, my resume isn’t very filled out because I have only prior experience from my high school days.
I knew I had to re-do my resume. I had to rewrite it to highlight my skills and experience. This new resume was able to get me interviews and the opportunity to tell the story of my experience and development. I am so thankful that this person had the foresight to share this template.
I think it is so much better than my old cv and shows my professional experience better. I am looking for jobs in social media or marketing and this is the one I have been using most of the times. I am still on the fence about the summary though.
My old one was just too wordy – kind modeled itself after MS Word’s options in terms of look & feelI thought it might be easier to do something visually interesting than try t Bosnian (which is what i mostly use)We used.
I haven’t used the same resume for so long. I used one of the templates I found on Google Images, and it didn’t really look like this. I didn’t want to do something too fancy, but still wanted it to be eye catching. I’m also proud of the way it turned out, and I know you will too.
It’s so different (I think) from all the other ones out there. I think it’s simple and clean, and the way it’s written makes it so the information doesn’t get buried. I also think it’s important to write how I’m different from other candidates, besides the fact that I have a diploma.
My previous resume was 4 pages long and looked like trash. Using this new resume format, I was able to condense the information to two pages, while still showing my achievements, and making the resume readable. I had to change my career path from accounting to infosec. I couldn’t leave the accounting job unless I had a security clearance. Until I had that, I was stuck.
The first thing you will notice is that my resume is much shorter than it was before. I cut my resume down from 3 pages to 1.5 pages. I also cut out a few sections that I didn’t think were necessary.
I’ve worked in customer service my entire life. From food service to sales to retail to admin work. I’ve worked with everyone from little kids to adults with strollers, seniors, different body types, and different ethnicities. I’ve even worked with a few kids who were younger than me. I’ve also worked a lot of different jobs at different places.
