Skip the boring, long, 3 page resume in favor of a condensed, clean typography one page version that puts the power words in your profile summary and special skills to the forefront. This uses bold fonts for the long hyperlink found in your linkedin and systematically places it in a personal statement box.
Even if you’re a software engineer that only has some college completed, the Georgian template uses multiple layers to bring out your current job by creating a colorful – but thin – border around a pastel air force blue base. People love this one… mainly because its header space accommodates over 10 key workshop points containing hundreds of verbs.
For those needing to take action sooner rather than later, the rest of the page was designed specifically for you guys. It uses tidy panels to organize your writing accomplishments, another for your technical skills, and so on.

Your input is very much appreciated .
It’s so simple yet packed with so much extra information that anyone could use it. It’s awesome because:1. You don’t need to be a master. A lot of people are applying to lots of jobs and not getting responses. 2. You can tweak it to your needs.
I have had ZERO luck with the old format. It’s cramped, it’s ugly, and I’m told that it’s not having the desired effect. The new format is so beautiful, and eliminates the need to ever worry about formatting or what is “familiar”.
It’s simple, easy to understand, and guarantees an interview. You’ll want to use this template if you’re:1) Unfamiliar with resume templates. This is not a job where creativity is welcome. Stick to the guidelines on the template. 2) Unfamiliar with Applicant Tracking Systems. Most companies have turned to ATS systems to filter out applicants.
I used this template to apply for two internships, both of which I was accepted to. I had no intern experience when I applied, so I just put my University projects down. After I got accepted to both, I spent about 200-300 hours in class (which was MASSIVELY time consuming – each course was a full lecture, and I had to watch all of them again just to catch up, it was a pain) only to fail both of them.
I know it’s a little outside the box, so everybody tried something different. This one is pretty different from most as it is a functional resume, but it is the most effective resume I’ve ever seen. It gets the job you want, the interview you want, and the recruiter you want all at once.
It’s simple, beautiful, easy to read and follows the most popular layouts of the web. It’s perfect for both graphic designers and general job-seekers. It features a beautiful form that lets you enter in all your details or create a blank page and start a new resume.
#1 – Content. The most important aspect of a resume is the content. Your resume should contain the most important information. This should be the most important aspect of the resume because it will be read most. Quantify your achievements.
I used this template to land an amazing job as a content writer for a tech startup. Thanks!
I have gotten 6 interviews within the first week of posting and it has been very beneficial for me. One of the first calls I got was for a job as a financial analyst for a very large bank. It was a marketing position and I *did not* want to do it.
I got 5 phone interviews within 2 days of applying. I’m pretty sure I boosted my confidence a bit. Next time, I’m going to apply for jobs more suited to my background. Thanks for reading!
