When you’re in IT – your resume is often the first impression that a hiring manager gains of you after you apply for a job. While you want your resume to be as concise as possible, it’s important to include optional sections that provide valuable information but are not required for completing the application. These sections are typically referred to as resume sections because they are included at the end of the resume.
First, review the job description of the position you’re interested in and identify which of your skills and experiences would be most beneficial for carrying out the duties of this role. Then, think about which of these skills you have and how you could use them to perform as a marketing assistant. For example, you might highlight your communication skills by elaborating on your ability to communicate complex information, including customer requests, in fewer than five sentences.
As a new graduate, it’s important to show your most marketable skills on your resume so employers can quickly see what you have to offer as a candidate. Use the following steps to help you write your first-year resume as a graduate:
- Your professional roles can also include any official positions you held while in college, such as a dean’s list or scholarship recipient. You may also include official positions you held while volunteering with organizations, such as a teacher or coach.
- Volunteer work and internships should be included only if they are relevant to the role you are applying for. For example, if you are applying for a volunteer position at a children’s literacy program, you should include it, but if you are applying for an internship at a magazine, you might choose to leave it out.

It is simple, easy to understand, and incredibly effective. I can’t tell you how many resumes I’ve seen that look like they’ve been drawn by some 13 year old with a crayon. These resumes are so basic and yet so effective.
It’s so simple, yet packs a wallop. It’s amazing. I’m posting it here today, because I am kind of desperate for a new job, and I think my resume could use some help. I’ve never had a resume before, and I’ve tried to keep it as barebones as possible.
It features a minimalistic layout which is consistent from one page to the next, it’s clean and easy to read, and it’s pretty as well designed as any template I’ve ever seen. It’s not the cheapest, but it’s well worth the money.
99% effective. Guaranteed. It changed my life. It changed the course of my career. It’s the single most important thing you can do to get into the industry you want to be in. It changed my entire outlook on work, my entire way of looking at the world.
It’s so simple, and yet it packs a wallop. You get to play with layout, font, spacing, and color all at once. It’s a small file, and it works with any screen resolution. If you’re willing to do the work, you can have an amazing looking resume that looks like something straight out of a Disney movie.
I’m using this template on the left, and I made the right one myself on the fly. The reason I made my own is because I wanted to make the resume as good as I possibly can, and eliminate as much mistakes and human errors as I can.
It’s simple, beautiful, effective, and it will set you apart from everybody else. I’m going to tell you exactly how it works, and you will be able to implement it in 30 seconds. There is only one catch, theres a 1 in 1. 6 billion chance you are going to die before you can read it.
I have always been a people person and I am very easy to get along with. I am also a multi faceted person and I believe that portraying that in my resume is important. I am looking for a job in the eCommerce space, ideally an agency or a company that does that kind of work.
It’s simple, it’s clean, and it’s effective. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen a resume that was clearly out of date with no sense of design or organization . It was either too fancy, with too many moving parts, or it was just plain terrible. This template is simple, and it’s effective.
No more drafting up a completely new resume with weird margins and text boxes that are hard to read. This template does away with all of that. You can use it for both full-page and narrow 2-page resumes. Best of all, you don’t have to worry about deciding what format to use. This template is flexible and easy to edit.
