It’s much easier to skim now, and I’m hardly even hitting the information. Of course, I still miss the point & print, but at least I’m getting the idea.
It’s simple, easy to understand, and will allow you to land your dream job with little effort. Here’s why it’s the best decision you’ll ever make. 1. It’s simple. You’ll be surprised how many resumes you’ll submit that aren’t well-designed, well-written, or have an poor understanding of typography, color, and content.
I didn’t have to think about it. I just went with what felt right. I know it’s not perfect.
I can’t wait until I can send it out to employers. Also, since I have been out of school for a bit, I have been trying to find a job related to my field of study.
I thought it looked nice, especially compared to most templates I’d seen. I wanted a resume that is as easy to read as possible, minimizing the amount of information needed to know what I want to know.
I had a terrible resume before this and I think it was a mistake to apply for my current job. I have a 2 year degree and I have no idea what the hell I am doing. This resume, I think, is the best thing that has happened to me. I hope that makes sense.
I used it to apply for two internships, and got accepted to both. The first one was a position that I was not qualified for, but my friends were. I felt like I let them down when I didn’t apply, and now I feel like I gained a valuable skill from that experience.
It looks so clean and simple, yet it packs a punch. I like to think of it as a “balanced” resume – one that tries to balance the important (relevant) with the length of the resume (easily readable and concise). I am trying this resume on for size (I am 5’9″ and weigh about 160 lbs).
It allowed me to fit all the relevant information on one page without sacrificing the effectiveness of my resume. I have condensed all my previous job experience to the following:* Job 1* Job 2* Job 3* Job 4* Job 5* Job 6* Job 7* Job 8* Job 9* Job 10I had a little over a page worth of experience with me including my past jobs and my education.
I went from a little over a year to a little over three to four months to land a job in my field. The main reason for this was because I had to do a total revamp of my portfolio and also my LinkedIn. I also started attending weekly coaching sessions offered by a company, which also helped me a ton.
