A creative, five page, clean and high quality CV package. This layout’s header makes it really stand out, as it uses black and charcoal in its gradient color fill – neatly incorporating these two colors throughout the document from top to bottom.
If you’re an artist, Revers can work wonders for your portfolio. Using only years in its date fields to cloak any work gaps, it creatively concentrates on your artistic traits more so than a diverse employment history.
Light borders help bring your opening statement into the spotlight, using white text against a gray background for your other attributes.
In the end you’re left with a tip top CV, ready to conquer. If you’re applying for a volunteer position, well that’s all the better!

I used this template to apply for two internships, both of which I was accepted to. I had no intern experience when I applied, and now I have a 2.8 GPA, 3.1 Accounting GPA, and a 3.9 overall GPA. These are all very good numbers, but I feel like they aren’t as impressive as the work I’ve done.
I have been using a more traditional resume for years, and it has done me well. It has gotten me interviews, and made me feel at home right away when I start talking to people. But, it has it’s downsides. I’m stuck on the bottom of the totem pole at my current job, and 4 years into my job, I’m still not getting anywhere.
I’m getting interviews for jobs I’m not qualified for. I used this template and got 3 interviews in the first month. My interview rate is like 90%.
It allowed me to fit all the work experience and projects in one page without sacrificing the important stuff. No cutting off the experience because I didn’t want to be repetitive. No not showing the completion dates because that would look bad. If I were a HR person, this is the resume I would give them.
Not only did I land my first professional job, I got it with a resume that is simple, clean, and professional. No gimmicks, no “I can do this because I’m smart” bullshit. It’s simple, it’s to the point, and it’s the truth. I can’t tell you how many times I see a “creative” resume that gets ripped apart by the real people who write the actual resumes.
I applied for 100+ jobs last year using this exact template and was hired on the spot. I had no prior job experience, but I made the mistake of not applying for internships. I regret this now. I worked so hard at school and I was so depressed at times because I couldn’t find a job. I felt like my life was spiraling out of control.
I had a hunch that an HR employee might be a bit more knowledgeable about the industry than a typical applicant and that I would be able to beat the applicant pool by creating a more human connection. I was absolutely right. I contacted the company and they gave me an interview almost immediately. I also had a friend who was the VP of a competitor of the company I was interviewing with change my interview to a face-to-face meeting about a week before the scheduled interview.
I am happy that I made the right choice and would do it again. I used this template because:1, I am a professional and I need to stand out from the rest. 2, I am confident in my skills and abilities. 3, I am a multi-tasking person and I do not need to be interrupted for a job interview.
I think it is a very good job resume and it has gotten me my last two jobs. My first job I got via networking my way into the company. My second job I actually came in as a last resort because my first job did not want to hire me.
I have always been a person who likes to organize things to make things look good and I like to use color as well. So let’s just take a look at the new resume I have created:The old resume is still available for viewing on my original site. If anyone wants to see it, just reply to this post with a link.
