Submariner stands out due to a partially (25 percent) transparent two-toned background. It’s body is well-defined by a beautifully inserted shape behind text containing light green colors and lines.
The two resume pages include four cursive fonts, an application letter and portfolio – both of which carry the same styling and are fully editable in MS Word as well.
With Submariner’s simple aesthetic, you can exemplify an impressive summary statement and temporary jobs in a confident, assertive and accomplished manner.
Sage is used for half of the body’s background, which is filled up by sphere-patterning effects. The section underlines are in pink, giving it an obvious feminine look – but giving it neat accents too!
Formatting Tip. Use word’s format autoshape option to fill in the the circles under the customer support text with more gray. It makes a huge difference, doesn’t it?

It has gotten me 4 job interviews in 3 weeks. I’m probably missing a bunch of things, but I tried to think of anything else that might be important, or that I might be missing and they aren’t obvious.
It’s much more readable, and it’s gotten the attention of the head hunters at Google, Microsoft, and Amazon. They all liked the one-pager, but they really wanted to know what I could do to improve it.
I applied for 30 jobs in 6 weeks and got 3 interviews. I’m not even joking when I say that 3 companies contacted me asking me to interview. I didn’t let them get to the interview stage. I kicked ass, I really worked hard and that’s the truth. I ended up leaving my current employer because they weren’t providing me with the resources I needed. That’s another opportunity I didn’t take because I had too many other opportunities.
I had a difficult time finding a job during the recession. I was stuck in a crappy restaurant job that I only stayed at because I had no other choice. I was miserable and worried I would be homeless at the end of the month. So I decided that in order to ensure my family’s food security, I had to find a job.
It’s simple, easy to understand, and guarantees an immediate *YES! * result with the least amount of wasted time and effort.
I had to completely revamp my previous resume, which was good but it didn’t work. With this new template I have been getting interviews every time I apply.
I tried to make it an aesthetic that would attract the eye and not get lost amongst the clutter. **What you should know:*** You don’t need a Bachelors. I started off on a pre-med track and switched to engineering. I had to take a couple of years off and am now back in school for engineering.
It’s simple, easy to understand, and gives you the best chance of landing a job. Once I see something I can change in the resume, I’ve bolded it and changed the bullet points to match the section name. * I’ve changed the job title for every job in the template.
I put a lot of work into it, and I think it is pretty good. I am not sure though if it is too much.
Hire a professional. 99% of people applying with no experience look like complete assholes. If you want to get noticed, look like a rockstar. If you want to get hired, a resume like the one I’m about to show you is going to get you more interviews than any other format. If you don’t have 100+ applications submitted, adjust your resume for every single position you apply for individually.
