For a résumé that’s equally as interesting and spirited as you are, try Xenicus on for size.
- Test out varying shapes or change the green and olive accents with something less vibrant. Upload your own logo for the header.
- To link out to your old employers, just highlight any text area, right-click and select hyperlink to add hyperlinks into the company description boxes.
- Or you can edit the pie chart data by double clicking any shaded part of the circles. Edit their colors by using word’s format objection function, and going to the solid fill option. Move stuff around.
- To define skill levels, all you have to do is follow the same instructions for the other graphs. Broaden your abilities by enlarging the shape size to make it match your capabilities.

Your input is very much appreciated .
I got a 6 month internship as a Junior in college using this exact template. I graduated college in 2017 with a degree in Psychology (with a focus in Social Sciences). I then worked for a start-up company for 4 months before leaving to accept a job with the county. At first, the job wasn’t bad. I got to see the inside workings of government.
I’m a huge believer in showing a bit of your resumé design-wise, and altogether it looks very visually appealing. With a combination like this I feel very confident that it will help my case when being asked for information and details.
I had to change up my old resume, which was boring and had no sense of style or personality, by about 95% of the stuff. This template is the best decision I could have made for my future resume, bar none. Not only that, but this template is extremely simple, straight to the point, and easy to understand.
I went from a job that I thought I’d be very good at, to one that I’m not even worth applying to. The problem is, I’ve been using **the wrong resume. ** The problem is, I’m not even worth applying to. The problem is, I can’t even land an interview for the positions I’m qualified for, because I’ve been applying to positions with no response.
It allowed me to fit all the work experience I have onto one page while also keeping the content of each job relevant to the job I am looking for. I am currently looking for a job in the IT industry. I used a resume template from Microsoft Word and found this template online and really liked it.
I have had a few jobs where the position was more of a managerial position than a strictly technical one. This can make or break a person in the eyes of a recruiter, I believe. I have had a mix of success and failure with my resume depending on the individual and the position.
You do not need an actual business license to make money. You do not need thousands of dollars in capital to start a business. You do not need anyone’s permission to start a business. Starting a business can be as simple as filling out a little application they send you with your business card. I know it sounds easy, but it is actually very easy. Just look at any template out there and you will see how incredibly difficult it is to get a business started.
I had to edit out some personal info, but otherwise the content is the same. I hope this helps someone out there!
It is simple. It is the ONLY thing that needs to be simple. You do not need to add useless elements to it because it is that good. It is consistent. It is clean. No more than 1 page. (clean)#4. It is easy to read.
It allowed me to fit all the information on one page without it being cluttered. I didn’t have to cut any fat to make room for extra information. My university career adviser also encouraged me to apply for the position. He said it’s a good opportunity for someone to step into a big, potentially promising job. He also said I should try to highlight my involvement in previous research projects.
